When you use Groundwork, we collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, company information, and payment details. We also collect usage data automatically, including how you interact with our platform, the briefs you generate, and technical information about your device and browser.

If you connect your calendar, we access meeting titles, attendee information, and scheduling details solely to trigger and deliver Sales Briefs before your meetings. We do not read meeting notes or other calendar content beyond what is necessary for brief generation.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve Groundwork's services, including generating Sales Briefs, managing your account, processing payments, and communicating with you about your account and product updates.

Your Battlecard information — including product positioning, competitive differentiation, and target pain points — is used exclusively to personalize the Sales Briefs generated for your team. We do not use your proprietary business information to train general-purpose models or share it with other customers.

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the platform (such as cloud hosting, payment processing, and email delivery), and only to the extent necessary for them to perform their services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Groundwork and its users.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, regular security audits, and access controls. All Sales Briefs and Battlecard data are stored in encrypted databases with strict access policies. We conduct regular penetration testing and maintain SOC 2 compliance practices.

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We also use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our website so we can improve the experience. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. We do not use advertising cookies or sell tracking data to third parties.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can export your Battlecard data and generated briefs through your account settings. If you wish to delete your account entirely, contact us and we will remove all your data within 30 days. For users in the EU, you have additional rights under GDPR including data portability and the right to restrict processing.
